2022.01.22 17:21 Silent_Virus Looking for Florida Maps
Hey, can anyone recommend a good Florida like map, preferably coastal with a river running through it? I'm trying to make an American style city, sort of similar to Dallas, Texas, but more Florida like if that makes sense.
Thanks in advance

2022.01.22 17:21 mellon98 Proposal - Gradually Increasing Non-Earned MOONs weight in Governance Polls.
One of the major use-cases for MOONs is weighted governance polls voting on Cryptocurrency.
As for now, only earned MOONs count in the governance polls:
“Specifically, this weight is the minimum of their total earned Points (Points that were minted directly to them) and their current Points balance. For example, if a user earned 1,000 Points but used 500 of them to buy perks, they have a current vote weight of 500. Similarly, if they earned 200 Points but now have 800 because of purchases and tips, their vote weight is still only 200.” - Source
Problem By default, earning MOONs is becoming harder from distribution to distribution. This is leaving the system centralized- early adopters gained and gaining a lot of governance power compared to users in 1-2 years from now.
Below multiplier is demonstrating by how much the last MOONs distribution round is harder compared to previous rounds: Round 1 - 32x Round 2 - 48.3x Round 8 - 8.66x
Or in other words, new users need 48 distribution rounds just to catch up with users from Round 2!
Possible cause for this problem is MOONs are on testnet and their market value is really volatile and inaccurate. For very low (/inaccurate) cost - malicious actors or even regular users can unofficially purchase enough MOONs and have power.
Gradually increasing the weight (From 0 to 100%) of non-earned MOONs in governance polls. The weight will increase by +2.5% from distribution to distribution until reaching 100% - process that will take 40 rounds of Distribution or 3 years and 4 months.
Rounds after implantation of proposal: Round 1 = 2.5% Round 2 = 5% Round 3 = 7.5% .. Round 20 = 50% .. Round 40 = 100%
If user earned 100 and bought 1,000 MOONs = 1,100 MOONs balance, 3 rounds after proposal implantation his voting power is 100 + 75 (7.5% of 1,000) = 175 MOONs.
Maybe we can even have minimum time lock like 3 month in order for non-earned MOONs to be counted. It’s not necessary to have it because:
“Vote weights are based on Points balances at the time that the poll was created, not when the vote was cast. This prevents people from making a vote and then transferring their Points for someone else to vote with.”

2022.01.22 17:21 rllysam Providing uvb - how to supplement?
My crested has minor mbd -
I just bought him an Arcadia 7% UVB Shadedweller.
Now since I’m going to start providing him with uvb, how exactly should I supplement him?
He gets Crested gecko diet either Pangea or repashy, and I plan on feeding bugs once a week from now on.
So how should I supplement his feeders? Should I ever use d3 on them, if so when and what brand?
How often should the feeders be sprinkled with a multivitamin, and how often just calcium powder.
And should the crested gecko diet ever be sprinkled with any supplements?

2022.01.22 17:21 trying_to_be_amelia Is Mitigare as good as Colcrys?
My rheum prescribed colchicine, it isn't covered by my insurance. Apparently Mitigare is (somewhat) covered and also has a copay plan from the pharmaceutical co, but my question is, is Mitigare as good as Colcrys?
I understand they're both colchicine, but Colcrys is FDA approved for FMF and Mitigare is only approved for gout.
People that have used both, did you notice any difference? I'm especially curious about side effects.

2022.01.22 17:21 SnowtekTV Which body to advise?
My friend is looking at getting into street photography as something to do together. I’ve got a Sony a7iii and said that if he was interested in getting a Sony model we can swap lenses and it’ll be quite fun. Since it’s such a new thing and unsure wether or not he’d even enjoy it properly, I suggested looking at second hand camera bodies and see what he thought of it all; especially as he’s just about to go on a trip abroad for a few weeks.
The only thing is, I’ve no real experience with these bodies so thought I’d see what you guys thought! They’re all second hand and they’re all different levels of ‘used’.
Sony a6000 for about £340 Sony a6500 for about £440 (no working hotshoe) Sony a7 for about £440 Or a heavily used a7r for £440.
These are the four that I’ve sent him. I figured the FF models would be better as the lenses would be more transferable but I guess it could still with the apsc models?

2022.01.22 17:21 CommunicationOdd9654 Car going wrong way on Roberts Pkwy (not a warning, just SMH)
I saw this about 1:50 this afternoon (Jan 22), at the intersection of Roberts and Burke Centre Parkway. A dark gray Toyota SUV was exiting the Walmart parking lot onto Roberts. Instead of turning to their right -- which is the only rational choice there, because of the median strip -- the driver turned to their left and drove the wrong way down Roberts to the intersection, where they stopped and put on their left turn signal. Fortunately, the light was red for Roberts traffic, and no one was turning from Burke Centre, so the Toyota wasn't putting any oncoming traffic at immediate risk. And, fortunately, the light turned a moment later, and the Toyota driver made their turn on a green arrow and went on their way.
So, no harm done, I guess -- but, damn, be careful out there.
